Amanda Anastasi
is a Melbourne poet whose work has appeared in unlikely places, from the walls
of Artists’ Lane, Windsor to The
Massachusetts Review in the US. 2012 and
other poems was her debut poetry collection and she co-authored with Robbie
Coburn the chapbook The Silences
(Eagle-mont Press, 2016).
She is a two-time winner of the Ada Cambridge Poetry
Prize and a recipient of the Words in Winter Trentham Poetry Prize. Amanda
completed a Wheeler Centre Hot Desk Fellowship in 2018, where she wrote a
series of poems set in the year 2042, and was an Assembly for the Future Artist
in Residence with The Things We Did Next in 2020. She is Poet in Residence at
the Monash Climate Change Communication Hub until 2022
