PITERMAN ON PITERMAN : Leon Piterman

ook Description:

Some may consider writing a memoir as an act of self-indulgence.  Indeed it has felt somewhat like this at times. However, I have considered it a duty. It is a duty to my late parents and those that went before them, as well as a duty to my wife Hannah, my children Lara and Josh,  their children Rafael and Isaiah, who will survive me as well as a duty to their offspring.

In the space of two generations since the Holocaust, like many families we have achieved much. I have tried to chronicle some of those achievements, to reflect on them with a touch of humour where necessary, pathos were required, as well as sadness and joy. They all fuse to create the rich tapestry that I have been privileged to call my life.
